happiness is… Dr. Seuss.
…who doesn’t love Dr. Seuss?! (if you’re asking who that is… get out of this country! ;o)) i don’t think i can’t point a single person out that hasn’t read at least ONE book by Dr. Seuss, if not the whole collection (such as myself). his melodic rhymes & simple words along with the imaginary characters we all know & love so well are truly a staple for American literature. our lives are so crazy, busy these days (re: my slacking in daily postings on here), we have a huge tendency to get caught up in the drama & complicated-ness of it all.. it can almost be overwhelming. it’s almost ironic that a children’s book, in all its simplicity, can set a whole new & clear perspective on so many things…
i, for one, am a sucker for quotes… channeling the jumble of everything running around in my head at any given time in to a single thought. but you can always come back to Dr. Seuss to just… “put it out there”:
the way i see it, life is too short to waste any of it making the “everyday” more complicated than it needs to be. no matter what’s going on in your day-to-day, in all seriousness, take a second to step back & let the Dr. put it all in to perspective for you. be honest, everyone’s got some Dr. Seuss within reach (between the original books, DVDs.. heck- you can GOOGLE it!). put it to use… you won’t be sorry! in fact, you’ll probably find yourself smiling more because of it… i promise.
